Train Schedule- 22436: New Delhi to Varanasi Junction (Vande Bharat Express | Departure: 0600 hours - Arrival: 1400 hours)
Today early morning board Vande Bharat train, which will take 8 hours to reach Varanasi (Tea / Snacks and meals shall be served on the train as per fixed menu plan by Indian railways). On your arrival at railway station, our local representative will meet and transfer you to the hotel. After being welcomed at hotel lobby, check in and relax in your room.
Varanasi formerly known as Benares, is the most popular pilgrimage point for the Hindus and one of the seven holiest cities. Considered as the abode of Lord Shiva, Varanasi is situated on the banks of River Ganges, which is believed to have the power of washing away all of one's sins.
In the evening, visit Ghats crossing local market and witness the evening Aarti Ceremony on the Ganges. "Agni Pooja" (Worship to Fire) is performed by a group of priests wherein the dedication is made to Lord Shiva, River Ganga (the Ganges), Surya (Sun), Agni (Fire), and the whole universe. Later return to the hotel and relax.

Note: You have to walk through the market for 500 - 800 meters and a few downsteps to reach the ghats.
Day 2: Varanasi City Temple tour & Sarnath visit
Wake up early morning to go for a river tour & enjoy boat ride on River Ganges and also visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple (Pooja / Darshan ticket charges extra). Later we will start with Temples tour covering- Bharat Mata Temple, Durga Temple, The New Vishwanath Temple of Varanasi, Hanuman Temple and Tulsi Manas Temple. After visiting temples return to the hotel.
In afternoon, continue your sightseeing tour to Sarnath on the outskirts of town, where the Buddha preached his first sermon in Deer Park, which contains the most impressive remains, as well as a modem temple. There are also the remains of a monastery and the beautifully polished Lion Capital of Ashoka. Visit the Park and Museum. Sarnath was made a Centre of Buddhist worship by the emperor Ashoka in the 3rd century BC. Evening return back to the hotel and remaining day will be at your leisure.

Train Schedule- 22435: Varanasi Junction to New Delhi (Vande Bharat Express | Departure: 1500 hours - Arrival: 2300 hours)
After having breakfast, pack your bags & Check out from the hotel. If time permits, you can use the hotel’s in-house services. Later take transfer to the railway station & reach at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time to board the Vande Bharat Express train to New Delhi.
Meals on train- Fixed menu meals will be served by Indian railway’s catering team on the train.
